Title 15 Section 2057c(2) states: (2) The term 'commercial purpose' means any commercial purpose other than for the production of consumer products containing butyl nitrite that may be used for inhaling or otherwise introducing butyl nitrite into the human body for euphoric or physical effects.
So, Isobutyl Nitrite is legal in the USA and is sold by a Company called PWD under the names Rush, Hardware, Bolt, Quicksilver and others. Although not sold as poppers PWD Rush is sometimes used as such. However, it is illegal to use it for the purposes of 'poppers' or gaining 'sexual pleasure'. Figures.
